Pelion entered the 4th quarter 5 points down to 5A Chapin and then exploded for a 28 point 4th quarter to walk away from the Eagles 65-55. This raises the Panthers record to 13-9 and they will face county rival Swansea on Friday in the Panther Den. The boys’ game will start at approximately 7:30.

The Panther had a quick start as they hit 5 three point shots in the first quarter en route to a 22-18 advantage. The game settled in as a defensive struggle in the 2nd and 3rd quarters as Jeremiah Green and Niko Austin controlled the defensive glass and Jacob Lucas drew a huge charge from Kelly of Chapin.

The Panthers put 4 scorers in double figures
Malcolm Davis with 22, Ethan Davis with 14, Travon Alston with 12 and Austin added 11.
