Pelion started fast and did not let up in a 65-38 victory over county rival Swansea Friday night.
Pelion jumped out to a 19-8 lea after 1 quarter and coasted to the victory thanks to the stifling defense of sophomore DeShontez Gray and Ethan Davis.
Offensively the Panthers were led by junior Niko Austin with 13 points. Malcolm Davis chipped in with 11 points and Ethan Davis and Travon Alston both added 10 points.
The defensive glass was dominated by Austin, Jeremiah Green, and Alston.
